His 20+ year career as a Health Services Administrator in the U. S. Air Force includes experience in the delivery of healthcare at outpatient, inpatient, teaching hospital, and regional headquarters facilities. He has a diverse background in healthcare financial management, human resources, logistics, managed care, patient administration, group practice management, facility management, and disability claims management. In these roles, he directly managed or oversaw the management of organizational budgets.

Curtis obtained a BS from the United States Air Force Academy and a MSA from Central Michigan University. He’s affiliated with the American College of Medical Practice Executives.

Curtis is involved in church activities and supports organizations and ministries such as St. Jude, Harvest Hope Food Pantry (Columbia, SC), Salvation Army, Meals on Wheels, Bible League of America, and Prison Fellowship. He also enjoys fishing, reading, and traveling.
